Mrs Bucket Cleaning Services Ltd

I recently photographed Rachel Flannigan of Mrs Bucket Cleaning Services Ltd, for an industry magazine. Rachel is a remarkable young woman who at the age of 22 has built up her cleaning business to a remarkable level. She now employs over thirty people and services domestic and commercial contracts from Newport to Llanelli. In 2008 she achieved the title of young entrepreneur of the year at the British Small Business Champions (BSBC) 2008.

I created an on-line magazine pdf thing over at issuu.com to showcase a body of work of mine on Sri Lanka and its recovery since the Boxing Day Tsunami.

I’ve kept the link back so as to give various editorial clients the chance to have first glimpse but since the five year anniversary has now passed it is available for public consumption. Unfortunely, however cause i’m using wordpress.com not wordpress.org I can’t use issuu’s nifty embed feature so you have to follow the link. Its still pretty cool though, amazing online software and very easy to use. Just upload a pdf as single page spreads and it automates it turning it to fully functioning online mag. Best viewed in full screen and please excuse the ads, as i’ve only been playing around with the free version.

Portfolio

Been playing around with putting together my portfolio recently and gotta say i’ve found it quite tricky. My work over the past few years has been so varied it makes it all seem quite incoherent. Now generally for a specific client I’l tailor the types of images I include but I want a set of around 20 images that I can use a goto for a quick summary or snap shot of what sort of work I like to do and that best represents me. This is still a work in progress and I guess is something that will constantly be subject to change. For the time being here’s a selection of some of my favourites and where I’m at currently.
